    Default FX140 Overheat

Need some advice on my FX140 that overheated on the hose. It appears there was kink in the hose and I didn't notice since some water was coming out. Shutdown the engine when it overheated. Waited to let it cool some then started again with water this time but still the overheat light was on so I shutdown again. Waited longer and restarted with water again this time no overheat warning. Should I be worried about engine damage? And suggestions? Engine ran fine on hose after cooling.

If you shut it down right away and were just idling it, I wouldn't worry about.
