  • question regarding SBT power valves and top end kit

I just received my top end kit and power valves for a yamaha gp800. The info on the power valves ordering page says that they come with fasteners, but mine came with the power valve only. With the new design, the bushing does not sit flush were the OEM one did, so is there something special that needs to be done to secure the bushing? If I run the original screw down flush against the bushing, there is a large gap from the screw head bottom and the surface area where it normally sits. Are you supposed to snug it up at that point and loctite it?
also, I was told in a previous post that each cylinder is matched to its own piston during machining, but the pistons and cylinders I received do not have anything that shows a specific piston to go with a specific cylinder.
    Thanks, Mike

First off just shorten your screws so that they are snug against the top of the bushing for the power valve. The pistons most likely measure all the same and thats why they are not marked.
