  • Correct Engine for a 947

I have a GSX limited with a Type 947 Engine in it. The color is Red on the engine. The motor number is M4927703.

What block assy should I order for this? Is it the 951?

    Please let me know.

The engine must have been repainted, sea-doo never had red engines, 947 and 951 are the same, what year is the watercraft?

The Year is a 1998 GTX Limited 5625. What is the difference between a White and Silver 951? How do you identify since my engine is Red.

Finally, I removed the engine and the rod is broken and did major damage the the case. Based on your pictures totaled would be my conclusion. The Pistom is also stuck in the Cylindar.

So, what options do I have from SBT?

      Thanks,

      Mase

The easiest way for you to see what engine you have is to try to scrape some red paint off and see what the original color is, If that dosn't work email us a picture of the engine and we will I.D. it. Call us for pricing on damaged block repair or replacement.
