as you can see the rear (pto I think) piston is toast and the front one was on its way out.
This rotax 657 out of my 94 xp had a Rossier modified head and rotary valve and was getting a wopping 190lbs compression!
Went through a SBT recommended break in procedure and was running great through about 5 tanks of gas. MAN THIS THING WAS FAST AND POWERFUL!!! I was using premix at 36:1 and running 92 octane pump gas...
gonna rebuild obviously. any suggestion to prevent this from happening again? and what rebuild kits are best?
