What's the method used to determine which octane gas to use? Right now, I'm still pretty much stock, with the exception of a 6 degree R&D timing advance.
Next year, however, I plan to put on a Factory Pipe. With that, which mods should I do in conjunction with the new pipe to optimize it's capabilities? I'm thinking simply putting in some new reeds, possibly a bigger carb. I don't really want to do dual carbs, nor do I want to install a bigger carb which would require porting.
I want to keep my motor fairly stock. I want to be able to run on standard pump gas, and I want to be able to not have to rebuild my motor every couple years.
