I hope my cross posting won't cause problems, but I could use some advice.
I have several older Yamaha's and have a lead on the ride in the subject line. I have yet to personally see the ski, but I have searched the web, and only found one photo to confirm it's the real deal. I have found photos of the 650 TS everywhere, but I am assuming that the 750 is pretty scarce.
When something is that rare, it can sometimes mean that it was a POS, and they stopped production of it, due to problems.
So what I would like to ask is, are there any known or inherent problems with the motor, pump unit, or hull with these Tandem Sport skis? Any known perfomance issues?
I am not into being the fastest on the lake, so not being able to hit 70+ mph isn't a detriment to me. That being said, are there many bolt on performance upgrades that one can put on it, to maximize what it can do?
Is this even worth buying? And if so, what should I honestly expect to pay for this? I don't want to get taken, buying something that may not be worth the money.
