Greetings,
I have a 1995 900zxi that is having ignition problems. The boat feels like it has a fouled plug, in that one cylinder fires intermittantly.
The problem is definitely not the plugs. I replaced plugs, then the wires back to the coils and the plug connectors to no avail.
I am trying to find out what other parts play a role in creating the necessary spark to troubleshoot them. Backward from the plug wires would be the ignition coils, CDI box, the stator coil and the flywheel magnets. Have I missed anything? Are any of these parts common failure points on this ski?
