  • Stock carbs settings for 94 SS Xi

topic says it all. I also would like a good starting point for how many turns out for the HS and LS screws.

    Thanks!

    Jeremiah

PS everything else is still stock (engine, pipe, flame arrestor, etc...)

It has been my experience that SBT does not answer carburetor related questions because they have the guide on their website and if you ask anything that mentions carb, they will either not reply or point you to their guides. Check out the techinical section to the left and see if that helps

Still, the guide you DO have is a VERY GOOD ONE and people should reference this first. Overall, this website is kick a**. I have learned more information from this site than all the others combined. What I find most usefull is the videos. Any chance you will be getting more of those?

Thanks Bryan. I do not have the manual which is why I'm asking. Can you confirm for me all 3 jet sizes. I think I may have one that is off.

            Thanks!!!!!

now here is the real reason I'm asking. I've put these carbs (stock 94 SSxi carbs and airbox) on a 93 750 SS ski w/ a brand new SBT shortblock (grey engine) and stock pipe.

I shouldn't have to mess with the carbs setting very much right??? maybe a tweak here and there, correct?

I don't have a 1993 manual to compare to, sorry. Maybe the microfiche on www.buykawasaki.com can help you.

                Yes more videos are coming.

Actually, I ment if you could check the manual for the 95 Super Sport Xi carb jets. The 93 used to be a single carb and I've switched to dual carbs...

                  thanks!

the sizes are on the kawasaki web site. I think they were L-72, M-45, H-135. Mid is the number 3 in your pic.

Yea, I saw that in the diagram also on buykawasaki.com but wanted to make sure. I have 82's instead of 72 so I really hope that is my problem.

Any one got a set of #72 Keihn carbs jets they wanna send me. I may also replace some interanl stuff as well just to make sure.

I'll report back tonight either mad as he11 or happy cause it worked...

                      thanks so far!
