  • 1997 polaris 700 compression

Hello,I have a 97 Polaris 700.The compression is low on one cylinder.10 PSI.The other cylinder is at 135 PSI.I removed the head on the low one and the rings are stuck to the piston. This engine has been sitting for a while so Should I just fix the bad cyl or should I do both?I'm new to this jetski thing so not really that sure what would be the better fix.I honed the cylinder and it looks nice and clean.is it possible to pull the one piston and relace it or does the engine have to disassmbled?I aalso read its better to replace the oil pump and covert to premix.Whats involved in this and what premix ratio do I run after that?I am going to need at least one piston and rings and gaskets for the head and exhaust. Is there anything else I need.I see the pistons come in .5-2mm oversize. What would the stock bore measurement be?thanks
Working...
