I have a 95' Polaris SL650 and I need help troubleshooting a problem. The engine starts fine and idles perfect. When you press the throttle it acts like it is going to power up and take off, but it goes barely fast enough to plane out. If you can find a wake and take a little pressure of the impeller it will ramp up to full speed and hold there as long as you keep pressing the throttle. If you let off the throttle the least little bit, it looses power back down just enough to keep it on plane.
I thought it might be a loss of fuel pressure at the fuel pump, but that did not fix it.
