1996 Polaris SLT 780 Hole In #3 Cylinder

  • 1996 Polaris SLT 780 Hole In #3 Cylinder

    does any one know what causes this problem? I was told they are known for this because the #3 cylinder is the last cylinder to get fuel from the fuel pump. I was told to change fuel pump to one that has a seperate fuel line going to each carb.

    that is caused by a lean condition,possible causes are: leak at crank seal,leak at intake gasket which causes too much air,and lack of fuel which is remedied by adding the fuel pump to feed # 3 cylinder
