2000 slx rev limiter

i have a 2000 slx 1200, i was hoping someone could tell me how to bypass the rev limiter ( if possible). I need to bypass it to check other things. thanks!!

There's no way really to bypass the rev limiter. You can get an aftermarket CDI with a higher rev limit or maybe get your re-programmed (if that's possibel). What could you possibly want to check that would require disabling the rev limiter (just curious)?

The rev limiter is built into the cdi and there is no way to bypass it that I know of. Maybe you meant bypassing the limp mode?

If both skis are running the rpms you told me about in your email then neither ski is running in limp mode...
