Ok, I am so close to knowing all I do to winterize except if I need to clamp of any hoses when I pour anti freeze in my ski. The manual appears to say you clamp off the engine drain hose, the clear plastic tubing coming off the back if the motor. Is this correct, I do have anti freeze coming out both the exhaust and the water outlet side of the motor, why would I need to clamp anything off. I also have antifreeze coming from the clear hose also.
Now for the not so smart question
I did the back flushing on my ski and clamped the outlet hose as told too, I however forgot to unclamp it when I was pouring th antifreeze though it with the motor running, I only noticed it as the motor seemed to run irratic. I only had it running for about one minute this way and then unclammed it, ran fine after that. Did I do a newbie mess up or am I ok as the motor did not run that long and runs fine after unclamping it. Thanks as he hangs his head in shame!
