Re: SeaDoo GTI overheat
I Did Blow All My Cooling Lines And Flushed The Engine. Water Is Coming Out The Pisser But I Accelerate And Pisser Remains With Same Stream. When I Accelerate The Engine Vibrates With Terrible Sound.i Have Not Put It In The Water But Last Time It Ran For 10 Minutes And Then It Would Not Accelerate Felt Like In Neutral. Would Overheating Cause This? Or Do I Have Another Problem? I Forgot To Mention Last Time In The Water The Anchor Line Wound Up And Stopped The Motor I Pulled It Out And Took All The Line Off The Rotary Put It Back In The Water Ran For 5 Minutes Then Neutral. Again Might Have Gotten Hot. Should I Try In The Water Again Now That I Blown My Cooling Hoses?

Re: SeaDoo GTI overheat
You should have mentioned all the problems in the first place.
You probably have pump damage - which will cause vibration and cavitation, which will prevent proper cooling water flow. You need to pull the pump off and replace everything that is damaged.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.

Re: SeaDoo GTI overheat
There is no water pump. The pump is the whole rear assembly with the nozzles, impeller, etc. on the back of the hull. It's removed by detatching the cables & cooling lines to it, and the 4 main mounting nuts. An Owner's Manual available through your local dealer is where you need to start if you are going to work on your own ski.SBT Tech Support is here to help with your problems.
