I have a 91 GT. It has the yellow 580 engine. I was checking for spark on both cylinders, and found that one cylinder only fires about 1/4 of the time. The coil has a positive and negative wire feeding it. The coil has both ignition wires coming from the one coil. So I figured that the coil didn't differenciate between the cylinders. I was under the assumption that both wires fired at the same time. I have since changed the coil, wires, boots and plugs, and I still have the same problem. I know the fire is generated from the trigger coil on the stator base plate. I have cleaned it, sand blasted the flywheel, and reinstalled. There is a spark amplifier inline between the stator and coil. What am I missing here. I need this ski to run before summer is out. Any help is appreciated....
