I know, OOOOOOO what a surprise!
Anyway, the motor runs and gage moves but the nozzle doesn't. Did i over run the worm gear or what?

probably just popped it off the block, or the screw fitting fell off. Time to dissasemble and look for the missing link (literally).

I would look inside the hull first and watch the VTS linkage move back and forth.. Make sure it's connected to the VTS trim cable.

well thats the problem the block is moving back and forth but isn't connected to the trim cable. now my question is, why isn't the nozzle flopping loose? I have very vigorously tried to move the nozzle up and down and it wont budge. I think the cable may be seized up.

Pull the steering and trim ring off.. those might be seized up too.

well the cable was seized but came loose with a little silicon spray lube then I greased it up and worked the cable in and out for a little while. I think someone disconnected the cable when it seized to save the motor.

the trim is working perfectly now--thanks for the help.
