I just completed installing an SBT supercharger rebuild kit on a 2004 RXP supercharger. Step 21 of the rebuild instructions say to check for proper gear slippage, and states that a new gear clutch will slip around 66 inch pounds, and a broken one will slip around 44 inch pounds. Mine will slip at 170 inch pounds. This matches a lot of forum advice that slip should be in the 13-14 foot pound range, but is way off from the SBT documented slip of 66 inch pounds. What is the correct slippage point?
