  • Oil and water in the front cover

While trying to get my explorer to stay running I decided to pull the front cover and noticed a little bit of milkey stuff in the bottom under the flywheel.Mechanic says that it needs a motor because the seal has let oil and water on the stator.Does this thing not get a little condensation in the cover?Has around 150 lbs of compression on both cylinders from what I have read this seems to be a fair amount. Was running fine when it came out of the water for the winter. All of a sudden it will not run unless you hold the button and then will only idle .Ifeel that it must be an electrical issue.Any ideas on the oil in the cover?Does this mean it needs an engine?
