After reading many posts here about how to fix porposing on this ski, I decided to buy pro-tech trim tabs. I am in the process of installing but am unclear about exact placement. The installation instructions are very poor. When I hold the trim tabs in place against the step in the hull that seems ok to me. The trim tabs have a long side with a beveled edge (does this go against the step in the hull?) Also, the wide end of the trim tab has a beveled edge which I understand goes toward the ride plate. When I line it up this way, the trim tab hangs over the ride plate a little. Is this right? I would appreciate any help on this. I've got the inside of the hull cleared out and ready for install, I just want to make sure I put these things in the right place.
