  • 1200 engine in Waveblaster 2

Is the compartment of a 96 waveblaster II 760 big enough to hold the engine from a GP1200? Has anyone done this mod. Have access to machine shop to machine parts if need be, but I would assume exhaust and pump would have to stay stock as well?

If this has been covered in the board, please send me the link as I could not find it.

    Thanks,

thanks for the help. I tried three searches for over an hour and didnt find any suggestions. Got a quick line or a better serch string than 1200 waveblaster 2 and fitting 1200 into waveblaster. Also, who sells them, maybe I can contact them directly for recs and advice.

      Thanks

I was almost going to attempt it when I blew my first motor.I had access to a 1200 from my cousin in Delaware....But just thought it would be too much work and add too much wieght to it.

There was a thread just about a month ago at pwctoday that covered this.I looked for it for you and couldnt find it.

That has got to be one h3ll of a ride with a 1200 in it.

Re: 1200 engine in Waveblaster 2

that is what I am hoping. I have a crashed 1200 and have access to a waveblaster hull. I had talked with a guy in Washington State that was doing the same thing, but I lost his number. He said they had a few out in the seattle area that had done the mod, were hitting about 56 on GPS. The nose weight keeps the top speed down, but handling is supposed to be better than GP hull and a lot more fun.

You guys could have a look at this...

Copy and paste and away you go. I think a guy in NZ put a 1200 triple in a super jet....
