Mikuni SBN 38 Dual Carb Question?

Hello I have a Mikuni SBN 38 Dual Carb and I was wondering if the second carb requires a gasket on the oposite side from the regulator chamber, you know the side that has a small fuel filter in it. Im not talking about the carb with the pump, Im talking about the one next to it. I have looked at many diagrams but none of them show what is supposed to go below the plate except for an O-Ring and a small fuel filter, so how would you seal the plate, besides using the screws isn't there suppose to be a gasket of some kind, or a Diaphragm?

Also would I have to check for pop-off pressure if I use the old springs and arms.

The o-ring is the only seal you need.

It is always good practice to reset/check pop pressure when you rebuild the carb.
