over heating? - no gauge

I have 1992 650 WaverRunner III, it was suggested to me that my problem is that the engine could be overheating, however I have no gauge on it to determine that. All this model has is a fuel gauge. Does anyone know if the 650 model has an area for connection so that I can mount a gauge to the dash?
