This is my first Yamaha pwc: 2019 FX SVHO currently around 65 hours, previously all Sea-Doos. The Sea-Doos were just having too many issues for me, so I've moved to Yamaha.
I ingested some small pebbles and have lost 5 mph top speed, down from 71 GPS to 65-66, and lost the strong acceleration thrust.
Removed the pump. The impeller seems to look pretty good - I'm barely seeing anything wrong.
The impeller housing (Part 6ET-51312-00-00 $362) has some light rash at the bottom, but still seems pretty good as well.
On Sea-Doos, I normally replace the plastic wear rings. Do I need to replace this impeller housing? Or am I missing something?
