We put in Mikuni carb kits, engine will not start without starting fluid and then goes to high throttle with a lot of smoke. I can give it more throttle, but it is almost at top end right after starting. Have to shutdown quickly.
So I closed both low speed adjusters, no luck.
Throttle cable and choke hooked up correctly.
Previous problem before putting in carb kits was the ski would start fine, idle fine, and even get up to about 25, but it would not open up to full throttle. Now I cant get anything except full throttle. Worked fine last year when put up.
Maybe I did not put the new gaskets in correctly. There is not a good diagram of the setup of the two carbs together, i.e. one has a different configuration on pump side then other, i.e. gaskets are different.
