You should have more after 3/4, but like I said - you need to know if you are maxing on RPMs or not...get a tach.

It sounds as if everything is working correctly, which leads me to back up what Bryan mentioned about throttle cable and choke plate adjustment. You may need aftermarket flame arrestors and adjust fuel/air to match. Maybe you just cannot feed enough fuel/air to a fine tuned machine in a stock condition. As far as your prop goes, it sounds like the degree of pitch pretty much covers hole shot through high speed capabilities of that particular ski. Stock Plugs? 9's?
