intake gaskets on daytona 770

I just put a new engine in my tiger from sbt runs great only problem is i forgot to silicone my intake gaskets and exhoust gasket is this going to be a big problem or can i keep riding?thanks

Well you could ride but then you may develop a air leak or exhasust fumes could choke up the ski and then either youre not running or leaning the motor out and blowing it up. Personally i would go back and reseal them right

While it may be best I think you will be ok. Coming from the factory I never noticed any sealant on mine and I got 5 hard and long hour years between rebuilds. Over 300 hours anyway. I put a sealant around the outside of all seams on engine with some waterproof and high heat capabilities after rebuild 60 hours ago. An RTV product of some sort. [img]graemlins/cwm3.gif[/img] I don't know what this gremlin is but it cracks me up every time.
