94 Daytona Pump seized HELP!

I have never pulled a Tigershark pump apart and I could use some guidance. I have already pulled the nozzle and vein assembly. I am looking right at the wear ring and impeller. I see a nut on the impeller that also has internal threads(the threads were filled with silicon). It appears to me by the orientation of the impeller that the motor turns counter clockwise giving me the idea that the nut would be a left hand thread but I am not sure.
