  • Torque Specs

    I am assembling a 770 motor and need the torque specs for the cases, head, cylinder, etc. Can anyone help?

    Cylinder Head 13-20
    Crankcase 10mm 29-43
    Crankcase 8mm 13-20
    Crankcase 6mm 6-9
    Cylinder 29-43
    Exhaust Manifold 13-20
    Ex Elbow 13-16
    Flywheel 29-43
    Engine Plate 29-43
    Expansio Chamber Bracket 30
    Carb/Int Manifold 18
    Starte / Magneto 6-9

              some of the values i have differ a bit; cylinder head 15-18, exhaust manifold, 28 (8 mm) and 40 (10 mm). I don't know if the difference is that important or not, just thought I'd share. All the torque specs are in foot-pounds.

                Is al the values mentioned ft pounds or inch pounds?

                  And are you sure about the 18 on the intake? Is that foot pounds or inch pounds?
