Have a 98 with a 640.....can a bigger motor bolt in and still use the same bolt ons?

If not, what would i have to modify to put the next size motor in?

You would need to get a 770 engine with intake, carbs, exhaust and engine mout plate. They you would have to change the impeller or have it repitched for the larger engine. The pumps are the same but and use the same driveshafts so no problems there.

A lot of work for just a few extra HP.

Unless your motor is exploded and need a lot of parts then I would just run it like it came or sell it and get a faster ski.

A better improvement would to add power trim from a doner ski. That will give you a few more MPH. It would also turnl and ride a lot better.

Thanks Dank, thats exactley what i wanted to know.

My buddy wants to take my sisters off her hands and wanted to know, if it was possible without all the other mods........I told him it would cost him, but had to ask anyways....it has a toasted engine, but he wanted a little more umph!!!!!!

Told him he would be better off just buying something different..

      Thanks Dank, i appreciate it.

Thanks for the tip titanic, but if i were to mod this i would do the labor myself.

Anyways, me and my buddy agreed thats too much money and time to invest in that hull that has nothing but a choke lever..lol

No trim, no gauges.etc......just not worth it
