Default Silly question about Yamaha lock code.

Ok, I purchased a 99gp1200 last year and the lock code was disabled. BEcause it was never used, the seller never gave it tome. However at the lake today, the battery died from someone trying to start it without priming it(don't ask, I wasn't there :) )... anyways, at some point SOMEHOW, the ski wouldn't come back on, and when i pressed the mode button it blinked START and then when I pressed it again it said code. After trying a couple default codes(like an idiot) it now say lock.

    What do i do?

    -the idiot.

Take a look at this thread.

    http://server1.sbtontheweb.com/forum...ight=lock+code

The address is long so you may have to copy/paste it into your browser.

The solution is in the owner's manual too. You can download a copy (but can't print it) from the National Yamaha Web site.

    Good luck.
