bendix gear grease

I am about to install the flywheel cover.
I notice that where there is a reccess for the bendix gear.
It looks like it had grease there before.
My question is is there a certain type of grease I need to use and
how much do I need ti put in there?
I assume I just put it in the reccess. Is that coprrect?
Also is there anything else that I need to grease before installing the
cover?

polaris sells a "special" grease but you can use a molly type grease as used in cv joints
