  • Jetting Help Needed 650 SX With A 750 SX Engine In It.

    The title says it. Here is the goods:

    Head: R&D 27 cc domes
    Cylinder 1992 750 SX Stock Porting Bored .5 mm over
    Pistons: Wiseco
    Exhaust Manifold: Coffman's 650
    Exhaust Pipe: Coffman's 650
    Water Box: Coffman's 650
    Coffman Inline Silencer
    Jetinetics 650 Aluminum Flywheel
    Dales Badd Attitude 650 Rev Limterless CDI Box
    650 Electrics Elsewhere
    R&D Case Stuffers
    R&D Rad Valves
    R&D Single Carb 750 Intake Manifold
    Mikuni Silver Series SBN 44mm Carb
    Tau Ceti Cone Stainless Flame Arrestor
    Prop: Jet Sports 650 16 deg Pitch Stainless
    Grate: Jet Dynamics 650 Top Loader
    Plate: Jet Sports Extended
    Nozzle: Ocean Pro 650 Bored

    Neddle 2.5 80 gram spring
    Main a 160
    Low a 130
    Hig Screw 2.0 turns out
    Low Screw 1.5 turns out

    On wide open runs it dies and sputters. Then you have to baby it until it gets going again at about 1/2 throttle. On low end it was prety crisp and ran good. But then I played with the screws and messed it up. So if anyone has a good base line to go with, please let me know.
