    Post Pre-mix stock oil ratios

If you have removed your oil pump and gone pre-mix, these are the correct ratios you should be mixing to, after the first tank of break-in. These are the stock ratios the factory pumps put out at WOT:

    32:1 = 4oz/gal
    40:1 = 3.2oz/gal
    50:1 = 2.5oz/gal

    Sea-doo
    40:1

    Yamaha
    All but 800 & 1200pv 50:1
    800 & 1200pv 32:1

    Kawasaki
    50:1

    Polaris
    40:1

    Tigershark
    40:1

    Hello

Thanks for the info for the fuel Oil mix ratio's. I am currently rebuilding my 580cc seadoo from my 93 GTX. I would like to know if running a slightly richer premix for the first tank would be a good decission or to stick with your recommendations of the 40:1 right from start up. If running a richer mixture is recommended what ratio would you recommend for this application.

    580cc bored .5mm over
cylinder head resurfaced .010 taken off
    155 degree rotary valve.
    wiesco hot rods crank assembly
    Oil injection block off kit

Also would you recommend rejetting the carbs for this application? I figured while i had the motor appart i would try and do some things to try and make a few extra ponies while i was there :D

Nothing there has anything to do with carb jetting.

Break-in always requires more oil the first tank, this chart is only for normal running, as stated in the first paragragh.

Sorry if i got a little off topic about the carb jetting. That was a secondary question about the modifications that were made to my 580. I know that carb jetting has nothing to do with premix. My question was what is the recommended premix ratio for breaking in a freash rebuilt motor? I have made a note in my service manual for the 40:1 premix ratio after my first tank of fuel.

Between 150:1 and 200:1 for all variable ratio pumps, at idle.

The Manual is a safe for all setting, 50:1 is correct.

Some have quoted using 40:1 and some have said 50:1 on premix on a WB2 760. Which is the correct ratio?
