95 SL650 Carb Adjustments

Can someone describe the process for adjusting 3 carbs on the SL650? I understand I start with factory settings. But, what do I do after that, do I increase by an 1/8 for each carb keeping the same ratio between front, middle and rear. Or do I adjust 1 at a time. Can I start with each carb 2 turns out and work my way back. I'm confused. Any help would appreciated.
