I have a 1995 Sea doo XP which has was running great. I took it in to the dealer for a service and they said that my oil lines looked old and like they might crack soon so I had them change them. When they hooked the lines back up, they said that they could not prime the oil pump because the oil pump was bad and it would not pump properly.
I would like to know if someone could teach me how to prime the pump myself to confirm that it is indeed bad. Does anyone think that the dealer could have not done something right?
If the pump is indeed bad, I am wondering if it can be rebuilt with a new gasket kit and not a full replacement?
Thanks for your help!
Sincerely,
Scott
