I am looking for information about my pto shaft. I stripped out my pto shaft and it will not come out of the pto. I am looking for information on removing the pto shaft and the pto from the crank.

The Hub spins off. Regular threads not backwards.You will need a serous puller to snatch the shaft out of the hub. Like a dent puller. You will of course need to replace both. So you might not even have to worry about getting them apart. Just unscrew the hub and trash them. -

pipe wrench on the PTO and some rope in the rear cyl and you should have NP getting the PTO off . cut the drive shaft to get it out of the hull , if you reuse it and the shaft is worn you can strip the new PTO . SD does sell the right tools for the PTO removal if you do not want to use the rope . keep in mind you might break your motor mounts if there old .PRIDE IN SERVICE<br /> <img src="http://www.sbtontheweb.com/images/forposts/4609/1.jpg" alt=" - " />Comment
