  • 2000 Sportster LE - 951 Fuse Location

My 14'6" Sportster died last Sunday during a sharp turn after dropping a skier at shore. Thought I must have pulled lanyard, but not the case. NO signal/beep from either lanyard. All accessories work, and battery shows 12.8 volts and powers up 200W stereo ok. All fuses at MPEM box look good and have replaced each - just in case.
The schematic in my SD manual shows a pair of 20A fuses between battery and "power block". I haven't been able to locate these and could sure use some help. They do exist, don't they? Seems there should be something other than a 15A - for MPEM - protecting electrical system.Would like to check these before pulling pipe and cover to check magneto.
Would also appreciate help in checking rectifier(integral in MPEM?).
Last question - for now - what does VTS stand for? Have spent couple hours researching this forum and would rather ask than guess.
Any other ideas/suggestions appreciated. Hoping for a short Friday at work so I can spend some time on this in the afternoon. Thanks.
I edited title of this post only in hopes of increasing response...Mike
