what should the compression of a stock '88 Kawasaki 300 be. What else should I look for on this type engine, before I purchase. The engine looks about as simple as it gets. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks

Very Simple Engine. Stock Comp Should Be Around 145 Psi. +/- 10 Psi. The Only Thing I Have Seen A Problem Is The Exhaust Manifold Likes To Rattle Loose If Not Torqued Properly And Loctited.
