  • RXP questions

Probably going to buy an RXP next year. Was wondering if any of you RXP owners thought there was anything that was an absolute must have add on or is it basicly fine stock?

Also curious how it handles in rougher water as I'll be using it on the coast near Vancouver, BC. as well as lakes. Thinking of making the trip from Vancouver to Victoria (on Vancouver Island.) and back a few times next year.

How's the (realistic) gas mileage on the rxp?

    Thanks,
    Denny

    Re: RXP questions

2 things that make the ski 100% better is to remove the OPAS and install a splash guard .

Don't forget to add an intake on that list... an absolute MUST on that craft!

        Re: RXP questions

Fuel milage is decent ( for a pwc). It is a wet ride unless you install a splash guard and a 2.5 degree wedge between the nozzel and the pump. Otherwise it is a very good 2 seater with plenty of power.

I might consider the 4TEC three seater tough if the type of riding is in the bays and inlets around Vancouver. The 2005 models will include a 4 Tec Limited, which is the three seater with the same motor and horsepower as the RXP.
