How many hours will Yamaha MR1 engines last?

    How many hours will Yamaha MR1 engines last?

    I am wondering what I can expect out of the ski. I know most boat gas engines are designed for 1000 hours. I think the 2 cycle engines do not last as long, does anyone know what yamaha says they will last for?

    I am looking at a used yamaha 2004 SX230, wondered how long those engines would last. Anyone know where this boat has been reviewed?

    No OEM gives a MTBF, however many report we have received from long hour testers/rental operations have them (and the 4TECs) above 1500 hours before major work is needed.
