What tools do I need, and how do I do it? I finally got my prox 82.25 pistons for my 82.25 bored 787 cylinders.

I use a micrometer and a bore guage. Measure the piston on the skirt 90 deg from the pin hole & about 28mm up from the bottom. Lock the mic & use it to set the bore guage to 0. When you put the bore guage in the cylinder the difference is the clearance.Dick Bell
