    Im moving to FLA and was wondering is it ok to run jet skis in the water does it hurt them any...and do u need to do anything to them after riding them in salt water?

    well they run best in the water :-) so ya run them in the water when you get to FL

    just rember when your done riding to flush them on a hose and spray CRC or WD40 or a good oil on the motor and around the carbs also grease the fittings now and then . if you want to do a really good flush job now and then get saltaway .

        In addation to the extra care you need to take with the ski, don't forget the trailer. It will be just as suseptable to saltwater damage as the ski, maybe more so. Be sure to rinse the trailer well after each dunking in saltwater and keep all the moving parts lubed and protected. Be sure the bearings are well greased and sealed too.

          to ad to the trailor post , if you own a steel trailor sell it and buy a galvinzed trailor . i would think a lot of freshwater guys will have a steel painted trailor , it wont last a yr in the salt .
