  • Premium vs standard

Aside from longer warranty and poster, is there any technical difference
    between the premium and standard?

No, the engines are the same. You also get a free installation gasket kit and break-in oil.

So no breakin oil with the standard package?
      Is it sold seperately?

        Re: Premium vs standard

Correct, break-in oil is sold separately with a standard engine. It is $9.75 here: http://www.sbtontheweb.com/Merchant2...tegory_Code=AL

So if I’m evaluating the 2 options correctly

$899 This is a Premium remanufactured Tigershark 640 engine. It includes the cases, cylinders, trued and welded crankshaft, head, all new internal parts and a 2-year no-fault warranty. Also included is a free Installation Gasket Set, a free quart of SBT Break-in Oil & an SBT Pin-up Calendar, and a Director's Cut of the 'Making of the Calendar' DVD. See below for all associated parts.

$699 This is a Standard remanufactured Tigershark 640 engine. It includes the cases, cylinders, trued and welded crankshaft, head, all new internal parts and a 1-year no-fault warranty. See below for all associated parts.
Add in $30 for Gasket Set & $10 for Break-in Oil is $739

So for $160 your getting a second year of warranty. That’s broken down is $13 a month.

          I’m Sold!

Thanks for making 2nd year available as an option.

                Re: Premium vs standard

We never gave the gaskets free, and most of our dealer accounts didn't need the oil anyway.

We have not raised prices in 4 years. An additional $9.75 is not unreasonable.
