The pump on my ski appers to be of the axial variety i.e strait throught with no taper. This differs to my old 550 which has a mixed flow pump i.e tapered, which is good as you can shim the impeller back to close the gap. Is this standard on the 750 or has my ski been altered at some point, I know conical pumps are good for flat out speed so if he raced it he may have made this alteration. If I order a new jet housing, which form will it come in?

Re: SXIpro jet pump
They started using axial flow pumps on the 650sx.. It is the same pump on all 650 - 800cc kawis, except the 750 ZXI.<a href="http://www.wetwolf.com/" target="_new"><img src="http://www.wetwolf.com/images/hurrsigpic.gif" width="400" height="100"></a><br /><br />Bruce Wolford<br />Wet Wolf Technologies - Purveyor of Performance Pump Parts<br />(509) 280-5444<br /><a href="http://www.wetwolf.com" target="_blank">Wet Wolf Tech</a><br /><br />PWC Race Director<br />Northwest Water Competition<br /> <a href="http://www.nwh2oracer.com/ijsba" target="_blank">http://www.nwh2oracer.com</a>

Re: SXIpro jet pump
Thanx wolf I apreciate that, so I take it if I buy a new pump housing I need a new impeller with it. Either that or machine down my housing till it's smooth, then build up my impeller and turn it down in a laithe until it's tight in the housing, what da ya recon?

Re: SXIpro jet pump
Buy the new housing, then if your prop needs work, send it to Dave at Impros.<a href="http://www.wetwolf.com/" target="_new"><img src="http://www.wetwolf.com/images/hurrsigpic.gif" width="400" height="100"></a><br /><br />Bruce Wolford<br />Wet Wolf Technologies - Purveyor of Performance Pump Parts<br />(509) 280-5444<br /><a href="http://www.wetwolf.com" target="_blank">Wet Wolf Tech</a><br /><br />PWC Race Director<br />Northwest Water Competition<br /> <a href="http://www.nwh2oracer.com/ijsba" target="_blank">http://www.nwh2oracer.com</a>
