Waverruner 650 sensor temperature

In my yanaha waverruner 650 1993 damage the sensor of temperature.
It is possible to use it without the sensor, if it is possible as the electric connection it is made

a new sensor might one day save your engine

If it gets hot, you want a sensor to let you know!
Yes, you can use ski without sensor.

I live in Honduras, Central America and I have to wait 2 weeks for the sensor I will install one new.
While it arrives I want to use the waverruner like one makes the electric connection the terminals they go separate or united

separate wires when sensor goes on (overheat) pink and black are connected together

Waverunner will not go with wires connected.

Thank you for your help this weekend I will use the ski and I will have the care of not overheating the motor I wait the new sensor for next week
