Re: Kawasaki 550 Aqua Torque starter question

Aque Torque is an aftermarket company. They mass produce starters for a number of applications. I have heard both good and bad things about them. I have also disassembled them and found that the parts used in them are not as high quality as a stock oem product. If you are looking for long term reliability then stay with the oem componets.

I have an Aqua Torque in a 87 SX650. Two years old and no problems so far. I am on the water every other weekend May to Dec.

I've had one on my GP1200 for 4 years, no problems.
