  • Cone air filters

Hi Im looking for 3 K&N type of cone air filters. I would like a used set if possible.
Also Im looking for a steering part for a yamaha vave raider. its the metal ring piece that the exit noxxle hooks on to,. it also controlls the steering. Mine is cracked on one end. And Im not sure if i should ust weld it. I have a welder and a torch so I could braze it also.

You can have it MIG welded.

Also, specify if you want with or without filter material.

        Raider 1100,
The welding job will require a heli-arc welder to the job properly. Mig can get it done but I would not expect it to last long before cracking. After welding, prime the part with zinc cromate primer. A few thin coats are better than one thick one. Then use marine paint. If you do not paint it the weld, which will be very pure aluminum, will corrode and pit very quickly.

Where do you purchase the zinc chromate primer? boat shop or hardware store?
