  • 1995 Polaris SL750 - Flush Kit?

I just purchased a 1995 Polaris SL750 and it did not come with a Flush Kit. When looking at the ski I can't figure out where I would connect one too if I bought one.

Did this ski come with a place to attach a Flush Kit or do I need to buy one and tap into one of the hoses? If I need to tap into one of the hoses, where exactly would that go?

    Thanks!

It connects top the side of the top cooling rail. It will face the exhaust side.

Do I unscrew a Brass fitting and then screw a garden hose right in there? That is the only thing that I see where it might go.

Yes, but you need to replace the brass plug with an adaptor. Available at your dealer or Watercraft connection.

So I unscrew that fitting and replace it with this?

Perhaps I should take a picture of it, I would hate to put it in the wrong spot :)

              See this...

Take out part #3 (brass plug), replace with the brass fitting in the kit. Then use the supplied hose clamp to attach the rubber hose end to the brass fitting.

You can also get a quick attach type kit too, by the way. You just attach to your garden hose, and then click to the part that's on the motor (same type of install). Easier, but more expensive.

Also, take care with the flushing, know what order you're supposed to do it in or you can flood/ruin the motor (thought I'd add this comment just in case).

                Perfect! Thank you very much!

Based on what I have been reading in the threads, my Polaris 750 should get a new fuel pump. Not exactly sure what I should get, but found this one:

Will this work or do I need something else?

                Thanks,

that fuel pump is only 35 litre pump. i used the 5 sided 70 litre high volume pump on mine.only 2 outlet though. tee in between 1st+2ndcarb and then between 2nd+3rd carb. blocking off factory input. or use factory input and tee in between 2nd and 3rd carb. make sure the fuel line restrictor is in place on the return hose. when all done do plug chop to check your high speed settings. allmost forgot, do you have original air intake. parker sells a polaris updated flame arrester with new jets, and hardware, and new oil lines, etc for only about fifty bucks. i bought one ,well worth the money. good luck. kevin.

So this is the one I should probably get?

Also, this ski has not been converted to Premix and that is something that I would like to do. Is this all I need as far as parts?

                    Thanks for the help!

"that fuel pump is only a 35 litre pump....."

Does anyone here have further reason to believe that a 35 litre Mikuni Triple Pump would provide an inadequate fuel supply to a SL750?

Not at all. It distributes fuel evenly with 3 ins. It alleviates the problem of running 1 cylinder lean.

Agreed here - the triple is sufficient - I did a lot of research on this before I purchased - but I did go with the dual because the price was really about the same for double the output (insurance). And the guy who owned the ski before me had already tee'd appropriately between 1-2 and 2-3 off of the stock pump - so it was a simple swap.
