  • SeaDoo motor rusted shut.

Pulled the motor from a 96 GTX that was sunk a while ago and the motor is rusted shut.
Tried to pull the cylinders off but they became one with the pistons and don't want to budge. I managed to lift the cylinders of the case and the rods do have movement in them.
My question is , how can I determine weather SBT will accept my cases as cores ?
The motor was all together and running untill the previous owner sunk it and I assume the cases are still good.
Can I get a 800 motor from SBT with a new rotary valve and cover ??
Tomorrow I want to try removing the cylinders again (soaking in oil overnight) and also want to check the oil pump but if I need a new one where and how much will a new oil pump cost ???
Thanks for any help on this one as this is going to be my wifes ski and if it doesn't run right I dont eat.

you do not have to disassemble the engine. We will accept it as a core. The only extra charges would be for damage to the case. Please call if you would like to order. We sell the rotary valve for $35.00 and the cover for $100.
