Polaris head covers.. removable per warranty?

Clearly the heads need to stay on, this I know.

What about the red Polaris head covers. Some people use the hot seat cover for cooling purposes (ie, installing triple pissers, etc...), just curious as to what the lowdown is on those :)

Everything must be kept intact to keep the warranty.
